Justice Delayed is Justice Denied

“Justice Delayed is Justice Denied.” Whenever I heard this quotation, first thing that comes to my mind are those poor people who can’t have their justice because they don’t have such money or power to gain this thing for themselves.

We all know that if you don’t have any of those things(money/power) in our society/community, JUSTICE for us is hard to gain. Because, for me those people who have their powers has more priority when we talk about the justice because off course they use their money to manage those officials who handles their cases and those poor people who don’t have such thing will just wait and wait for a couple of month, a year, another year, until it will be denied or forgotten. In short, there is no EQUALITY between the poor people and rich people. Equality is treating people equally and treating people the same is not necessarily the same thing. For example, in court of justice, a young lady is begging for justice because she was raped by a man. Unfortunately this man is a son of a rich family,  so the justice that was begging by the poor young lady will be delayed until it will be denied.

I’m not saying those things because i have experienced once, I just watched it from movies/telivision. (hehehehe)

  

My Christmas Experience….

One of the most awaited season of every year is the Christmas specially for children, because they are the star of this season. Aside from the presents that we receives from our love ones we also love the bonding we made with them, we went to picnic, we prepare a lot of foods, we gave presents and some money to our friends, we attend  Simbang Gabi for nine days for Catholics. Some rich people goes to other countries just to celebrate Christmas.

Me, I celebrated my Christmas last year happily. In our college, we have they call “X-Night”, the Christmas party in our college, we started the party at 6:00pm. All students must wore their semi formal dress. When I entered at the University Pool, the location of that party, I saw my friends having some good times and the party is about to start. There was presentation of every section in our college then comes the singing contest until it rain. So, we decided to transfer at gym to continue, then they gave our miryenda, after we ate, all lights was turned off so everyone will enjoyed the dance portion of the party. When the party is over, me and my friends decided to went to dorm and we got a new experience from that Christmas Party.

On the next day, we are all busy at dorm to prepare for our Christmas Party, we put some Christmas decors at lobby, arranged the chairs, prepare everything about that party. When the night comes we started the party with their messages then the main event likes singing contest, then comes the parlor games. I really enjoyed all their parlor games because I joined almost all the parlor games they prepared. After all of this, we had some foods to share with all the residence of our dormitory.

 When the Lantern Parade finally came, all students and professors of every colleges were so busy for the activity. At the afternoon that day, their was the float parade of every colleges here in CLSU, that parade would show the creativity of every colleges by presenting their own float and also the lantern that they made would also show how are they creative. That parade would be done at the entire road of our University. After the parade, all students were required to go to the oval to watch the performance or presentation of all colleges. Their, we watched the street dancing competition of every colleges, while watching it, me and some of my friends were decided to went to the house of one of my classmate to made something to eat for the night. Their, we made easy to prepare foods so that, we can return quickly to the oval to resume watching the performance of the students. When we came back, the street dancing competition was still the show, so while waiting the next program or competition, me and my friends made some conversation about our pasts, love life, etch. After the street dancing competition, there is the modern dance competition and singing competition, and also there is the comedian competition, the contestants will do their best to made the audience laugh out loud and this person will be the winner. After all of this, is the main event that is the Lantern King and Queen 2011, were all the audience and students were all exited. They were all hyper while cheering their favorite and the representative of their colleges. The crowd was very noisy whenever their favorite candidates show their outfits or attire. After the announcement of winners of the Lantern King and Queen 2011, was the concert of a band were all the students are free to sit all over the field or in the oval to have their conversations or everything that they want to do under the moon until the morning came. My friends and I took pictures and eat foods that we prepared until midnight. When we felt sleepy, we decided to go home to took our sleep.

Then, the next day, I went home to celebrate Christmas with my family. 

MY FIRST IT SPORTFEST...

When I entered the world of IT, I thought that it will be hard for me to study and get a high grades because first of all it’s not my ambition in life, I mean it’s not my ideal job or work in the future and I am not good in programming. But, staying in this course, I realized that IT is not hard instead it’s fun specially when if there is activities in IT.

My first IT sport fest is on last  August 13. On that day, I have also a fever so I decided not to attend that activity, but my friend told me to attend because it is required and there is a payment to those who will not attend the activity so I get up to bed and went to the place where we should meet and take an attendance.

After writing our names in attendance sheet that was given by a higher year in our department, we entered the old gym and start the program. At first they gave the IT faculties awards that they called “pinaka-“. After it, the presentation of the jingle of every section in IT and then the Search for Miss and Mr. IT Sport fest 2011, and for that we got the first win in our team, team 2-1, our representative for miss got the first place.  Then, we transferred into MPG to continue our program. Their, we made a lot of activities/games such footsal, volleyball, paper dance, pinoy henyo, yuckness, Chinese garter where I joined because my friend told me so, but unfortunately I am the one who first illiminate because my feeling/body is unwell. While waiting for the other games to finish we have our “miryenda” and we also took some pictures with our section and with our adviser maam Rowena Pagirigan. After finishing all the games is the announcement of the winners and luckily we got the third place.

At the end of the day, we are all went home happily and has another unforgettable experience to share with our friends. (^_~)

FRIENDSHIP...

“What is Friends for?” the line that we are saying when we help our  friends in times of  needs or troubles. That is the essence of having some friends specially good friends, because some people are using you for some reason so that they are your friends, those kind of friends for me are user, social climber, or how you call it.

For me, friendship is one of the most wonderful thing you shouldn’t miss when you are living in this world, because aside from your family and other relatives, your friends are those people that can give you care, advise, and love. They can comfort you when your feelings is unwell, they can serve you as listener when you want to voice out what are thinking or what is inside your heart, they can give you some advice when you don’t know what to do, they can also help you financially if you ask them for help, they can also help you with your studying if you don’t understand your lectures, you can also cry and open up to them if you want to, your friends can also be with you when you want to go somewhere, they also can be your inspiration to study hard, you can also tell your friends about your secrets. Those are some good things that your friends can give us. But there are kind of friends that their intention is to get some good things from you, they are treating you as friend because they are using you for some reasons. They are your friends not because they want you to be part of their lives but to get some good things from you.

Me, I admit, I’m not a kind of friendly person(he-he). I’m not that kind of person that will do anything just to be a friend of someone, but I’m not also a choosy person about my friends, those people who can trust me and those people that can understand my characteristics, those are my friends. In fact, in my facebook account, I always accepting all the friends request without checking their profile or info. Not because to have a lot of friends with that social networking and I also hate to have a lot of it but because as I said I’m not choosy person in terms of friends and also for the effort to add me as friend, perhaps they just like my profile pic.(hahahaha kapal…). The things I really like about my friends is that we can talk a lot about our opinion or feelings that we don’t want to share with our family. And also I can be me without pretending, I can say what I want to or I can do what I want to. I also like when we were going somewhere  without knowing of our parents.

Those are the things I like about friendship, I love my friends and hopping they were too as me (hehe), but I’m sure they like me too. (^_~)

MY COLLEGE LIFE...

College life for me is a part of our lives where a lot of sad and happy memories where to be made. For some students, college life for them is more fun than their high school life because they were felt already adult and not young any more that they can do everything they want, in short, freedom.

When I entered the life of college, I felt a lot of emotions at first place, because it is my first time living away from my parents and love ones. I am also afraid because all of them to me are strangers and I don’t have any friend to talk with, and also I am exited for my new experience to be happened. 

When the classes started, I felt happy because I found new friends with my classmates. We made a lot of happy memories when we was first year then. There were many things happened to me for the first time when I was in first year college such my first Acquaintance party, my first Lantern parade and other activities we made when we was in first year.

I am now a second year college, taking a bachelor of science in information and technology. As I expected , taking this course for me is hard because first of all, this is not my dream job to be a IT professional. But, I took it because my parents told me so and also to avoid making them disappoint because of me (haha). At the first semester of this school year, I have lots of sad and happy memories we made with my new classmates in IT world, one of these is our IT  sport fest 2011 and the CEN Acquaintance Party 2011.  At the end of the last semester, I am afraid to see my grades, specially our major subjects because I’m afraid to fail grades. But, luckily, I don’t got fail grades for the last semester (haha).
